Purchased new and converted to Trans Am Class racer, a stock body class, later converted to GT-specs, allowing fender flares and more performance. The engine is a new zero-time professionally built V8-355ci small blokc 450HP from Stapleton Engines, Elmira Ny, with 180 degrees headers, Holley carb, Accusump oiling system, Mallory Hyfire ignition and 4 speed standard manual gearbox.
Full padded roll cage, fire extinguishing system and Nascar-type fuel cell. Brakes are delco 4 piston calipers with a balance-split braking setup.
Exhaust was later modified from 8 in 2 straight pipes into 8 in 1 with a 3.5" aluminized-steel silencer.
The car has an original SCCA log book from 1977-1989,with recorded track days, among others at Watkins Glen International, NY.
All custom-declerations documents, when imported to Belgium 2004, from the States are at hand.
The car starts and runs but will need a new set of tyres.
This car won many races and championships with driver Roger Hoodak.
He sat 2 tenths of a second off the lap record at Watkins Glen in 1989.
